Konata Izumi wakes up in a strange and unfamiliar place. She had fallen into a large temple.
When she opens her eyes, she begins to remember what happened. She remembers driving her car toward the beach on the highway when her brakes failed, sending her hurtling off a cliff at full speed. Although she tried to stop the car with all her might, it plummeted, causing a seemingly fatal accident. Instead of killing her, it brought her to this place.
Konata must now figure out why she ended up there and how she can return to her homeworld if she's still alive.
